I finally managed it to drill some shells my friend brought me from her trip to the Phillipines, and I assembled these sweet earrings…my way of tasting the far, far away :)

the light beige one above the red skein. I hoped it would turn out green, I read that orange skins would dye green, so I saved and dried orange peels for a year. But it smelled like hell and didn’t dye green —> fail.
Yarn I dyed over the past two months with natural dyes such as madder, reed, black beans, japanese indigo and dried orange skins.
